The service provided by the staff was impeccable, with everyone being friendly and helpful. The housekeeping was excellent, ensuring that the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The room amenities were top-notch, including ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel also had a cozy sitting area and a terrace, where I could relax and enjoy the breathtaking views. The free toiletries provided in the room were of high quality, and the electric kettle and television added to the convenience and entertainment. The hotel had a bar/lounge area, where I could unwind and enjoy a drink. The staff was always attentive and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel also offered special diet menus, catering to different dietary requirements. The leisure facilities, including beach access and a TV room, added to the overall experience. The hotel also provided free Wi-Fi and luggage storage, which were convenient additions. I had a wonderful experience at this hotel, and I would highly recommend it to others.

I had a wonderful stay at this seaside guesthouse. the staff were efficient, polite, and professional, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. the breakfasts were superb, with a lovely selection of fresh fruit served daily. I was lucky to be seated by the window in the bar area, allowing me to enjoy the stunning views of the sea while basking in the warm sunshine. the guesthouse also provided a parking permit, which was convenient for exploring the nearby town center within a short walking distance. I had a great experience at Rockside and would definitely stay here again.

As cricket enthusiasts, we chose The Rockside for its unbeatable location near the cricket ground. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and were even treated to complimentary tea/coffee in our room. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure that nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast spread was fantastic, catering to everyone's tastes, and even keeping our fussy 3-year-old satisfied. The rooms were spotless, and the bed provided a comfortable night's sleep. All in all, we had a lovely time here and would definitely recommend it!

The hotel is conveniently located near the south beach, making it easy to access and enjoy the beach. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a good shower and tea/coffee making facilities. The staff were friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast offered a variety of choices, including cereals, fruits, yogurts, and juices.

The small table lamps in the main room were not functioning and there were no additional lamps in the second bedroom, which was an inconvenience.

Additionally, the breakfast served at the hotel was superb, with a wide variety of choices and a lovely dining area with views of the sea.

I had such a warm welcome upon arrival at the Rockside. The staff, including Darrel and Sarah, were lovely and super helpful throughout my stay. The room I stayed in was spacious with two bedrooms and a large bathroom, and it was impeccably clean. I also enjoyed the beautiful views from the top floor. The location was great, with plenty of places to visit nearby, including Scarborough, Whitby, and Robinhoods Bay. I had a delightful stay at the Rockside and would highly recommend it.
