We stayed at The Lakes in Rookley for a relaxing weekend getaway. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. The caravan we stayed in was clean and modern, with lovely views of the lake. We were impressed with the two toilets in each chalet and the en suite bathrooms. The location was ideal, just a short drive from popular attractions like Shanklin, Sandown, and Tapnell Farm Park. The staff was amazing, and we loved the three bedrooms and the lovely shower. The outdoor decking was a nice touch too.

lakes outshone our previous stay in rookley. the friendly staff, amazing entertainment, and attentive restaurant service made us feel truly welcome. the beautifully landscaped grounds and nicely furnished cottage added to our enjoyment. overall, a great value experience exploring the coast.

our Xmas stay was okay. the location was great, with easy access to many places on the island. Plus, the accommodations were modern and new, with a hot tub overlooking lovely views.

Our experience was dampened by the lack of communication and basic amenities. the place was missing things like towel hooks, oven gloves, and hand soap.

The location of the resort was handy for transportation, with easy access to the no3 bus that takes you to Newport. The festival bus provided by the site was a welcome bonus. The surrounding grounds were lovely and had a home from home feel. It felt safe, allowing my 13-year-old to go to the local shop on his own without worry. On-site activities like darts and mini golf were a nice addition. The fishing pond, although we didn't fish, provided a relaxing atmosphere and added to the resort's appeal. The reception staff were friendly and the water activities were fun. The caravan came with a nice welcome pack that made settling in easier.

The cottage lacked a few things and needed minor maintenance. However, overall, our stay felt almost like being at home and we have no complaints at all.

had a great time at the carnival, even better than my previous stay! Lakes really knows how to deliver a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was family-friendly and the beautiful scenery added to the charm. Definitely exceeded my expectations.
