we had a wonderful experience at greene king inns. the property and grounds were stunning, perfect for wedding photos. the staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to resolve any issues. the room was spacious and comfortable, and the restaurant offered a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options. a warm welcome, lovely breakfast, and a great outside area for relaxing made our stay memorable. overall, a fantastic value for the money.

Features like settee table in room for private conversations. Pretty location, comfortable bed, big bathroom, reasonable price.

the hotel boasts a rich history showcased through original features. the staff were exceptionally informative and friendly, displaying a genuine passion for the hotel's heritage. the room was spacious and clean, with a cozy feel enhanced by lovely views. A dog-friendly hotel, the generous and tasty breakfast added excellent value to the experience.

The staff here were so friendly and attentive that it made my stay truly enjoyable. the bar and food service were top-notch, and I always felt safe and well taken care of. the historical building had a charm that added a unique touch to my experience. Plus, the beautiful garden area was a delightful spot to relax and unwind.

While my stay was generally pleasant, I did notice that the WiFi reception was quite poor in certain areas of the hotel. the building could use a bit of upkeep to maintain its beauty.
