I recently stayed at a hotel near the West Highland Way, and I had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and even helped my friend with her twisted knee by providing ice. The room we had was clean and comfortable, recently refurbished with fresh carpets. The food at the bar restaurant was decent, and we particularly enjoyed sitting outside in the lovely sun after a long day of walking. The location was perfect, right on the path of the West Highland Way. it was a great stay.

Lovely staff. Perfect for West Highland Way walkers or those seeking a technology-free retreat. Limited Wi-Fi and 4G access, but there is slow Wi-Fi in the bar. Clean rooms with recent refurbishments. Good pub food. Beautiful outdoor seating area. Helpful staff and a drying room for soaked walkers. Comfortable bedrooms with well-decorated bathrooms. Lovely Loch views from the restaurant.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Rowardennan. The location was stunning, right on the shores of Loch Lomond, offering beautiful scenery and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially towards our dog. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a bar and restaurant where we enjoyed delicious meals for dinner and breakfast. The cleanliness of the rooms was top-notch, and the comfortable accommodations provided everything we needed. We were also impressed with the easy access to Ben Lomond, making it a perfect starting point for our hike.

It gets quite busy during the day and early evening with walkers and people visiting the area, creating a lively atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, ensuring that guests have everything they need. The rooms are basic but comfortable, with lovely views of the Loch. It's great to see attention to detail with amenities like hot water and soap readily available.

That breakfast could have had more variety in terms of cereal choices and spreads. However, overall, our stay at this hotel was fantastic, and we would definitely consider returning next year when the weather is hopefully better.
