The lack of breakfast facilities was a disappointment, especially since we had paid for a bed and breakfast package. An early departure necessitated a continental breakfast option, which was not available.

We recently stayed at the Royal George Hotel in the Cotswolds for a second time. The hotel is charming, with comfortable and clean rooms. We enjoyed a fantastic evening meal at a reasonable price. The staff were welcoming and friendly, despite being busy with an event in the bar. The breakfast was delicious, with a great selection. The location is stunning, with spectacular views and plenty of walking opportunities. Gloucester and Cheltenham are easily accessible.

A delightful stay at Greene King Inns. The hotel had a relaxed atmosphere and a good ambience, perfect for walkers on the Cotswold Way. The seating areas in the bar were comfortable and they served well-kept real ales. My room had a spacious 6' bed and came with plenty of beverages.

Although the wifi was a bit erratic, the hotel's location surrounded by trees and greenery was truly idyllic. I enjoyed lovely walks in the nearby woods and the stunning viewpoint provided breathtaking panoramic views on a clear day.

We had a wonderful stay at a hotel that we will definitely re-visit. The location was perfect, situated adjacent to a good road network, making it convenient for exploring the surrounding areas. The hotel itself had a lot of character, with the atmosphere feeling warm and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, with a large, comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. The staff were friendly and always pleasant, providing excellent service. We also enjoyed the easy and good value meals in the bar, where there was no need to dress up. It was great to see that the hotel was dog-friendly, allowing us to bring our furry companion along. we had a relaxing and enjoyable experience at this hotel.

Perhaps there could be a few more staff during busy times in the breakfast dining room.

I loved the attention to detail, like having a small patio just outside in the garden, which was perfect for enjoying the fresh air. The comfortable king-size bed ensured a good night's sleep, and the breakfast served by the very friendly waitress was a great way to start the day. The reasonable prices for wine were also a pleasant surprise, and it's great that breakfast is included in the nightly rate.
