This is a lovely historic hotel with friendly staff and the common parts are in good decorative order. the location was perfect for exploring Inverness. the room was comfortable, and the blackout curtains ensured a good night's sleep. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate early breakfast for guests participating in the Loch Ness etape. Nearby landmarks like Inverness Cathedral and Inverness Castle added to our family bonding experience, making our stay truly memorable.

rooms at royal highland were clean and spacious. great location by sash window. loved local dining tips. staff - especially receptionist mithu - gave a warm welcome.

we stayed at royal highland in a room that was surprisingly quiet, considering its proximity to the train station. the comfortable bed and deep bath tub were delightful touches. the continental breakfast offered plenty of choices, including cereal, fruit, croissants, and cheese. the grand lobby and friendly staff added to the overall pleasant experience. the bar served good food and drinks, and the night porters were handy for late-night indulgences. the free luggage storage was a helpful convenience.

During my stay, I was impressed by the cleanliness and charm of the hotel. the facilities were top-notch, and the convenient location right next to the train station made transportation a breeze. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast served in a beautiful room and the Scottish Highlander portrait with its own light in my comfortable and spacious room. Additionally, the staff were friendly and helpful, making my experience even more enjoyable.

fabulous location right beside the train station, ideal for catching early trains. the breakfast had good continental choices, but the cooked option was a letdown. Room was cozy but had some maintenance issues. Staff were super helpful, just one hiccup with parking.

the building and room were charming, with spacious accommodations and lovely old-fashioned bathrooms. the staff were friendly and the food was exceptional, offering large portions at reasonable prices. the convenient location near the bus and railway stations made it easy for us to explore the area. We would definitely consider returning in the future for another delightful experience.
