The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from the receptionist to the manager. They really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The service was impeccable, with room service, dry cleaning, and housekeeping available. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed, including ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities. We also enjoyed spending time on the terrace, which had beautiful garden furniture. The hotel also offered free toiletries, a flat-screen TV, and a cozy sitting area. the staff and service made our experience at this hotel truly outstanding.

The food was excellent, especially the dinner. However, the breakfast could use some improvement. Our room was clean and comfortable, although the lighting was a bit dim. We did have a minor issue with the hot water, but it was promptly fixed. The only downside was the lack of an elevator and the challenging stairs with luggage. Despite these minor flaws, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. it was a lovely two days at Royal Oak Hotel in Welshpool, Mid Wales.
