This hotel is located in a beautiful marina setting, right next to a canal. It's also conveniently close to local shops and a cycle path, making it a great choice for those who enjoy outdoor activities. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and stylish, with modern bathrooms. The staff are friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast, although pre-packed, offers a variety of options to suit different dietary needs. the hotel provides a peaceful and picturesque retreat.

It's worth noting that some rooms may have thin curtains, which can let in early morning sunlight and make it hard to sleep.

The rooms were very clean and seemed newly refurbished, with all the furniture looking new. the location next to the marina was a big plus, offering beautiful walks and a lovely dinner at the restaurant next door. Another advantage was the availability of facilities in the room such as an iron and ironing board, trouser press, and toiletries.

One of the curtains in the room was being held up by a safety pin, which made it difficult to draw properly. the check-out time was quite early at 10 am, which felt a bit rushed and didn't allow for a leisurely morning.

We also appreciated the fact that the hotel had a nice marina and canal side, which made for a pleasant view. the hotel was located in a lovely area, with the train station nearby for easy access to London in just 30 minutes.

The hotel's location on the marina was simply stunning. I enjoyed waking up to the beautiful views of the canalised river and being able to take a leisurely walk along the marina. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with secured parking behind a fob barrier and a lovely lake-side café/bar called The Boathouse. The continental breakfast provided in the room was a nice touch, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

I absolutely adore staying at Roydon Marina Village! The value for money is exceptional, with clean and comfortable rooms that guarantee a great night's sleep. The location is perfect, nestled in a beautiful country setting near the river, offering a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. The staff here are always friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in this area.
