We were blown away by the beauty of Sandhill House and its grounds. Despite the rainy weather, the owners warmly welcomed us and made us feel right at home. Our room, the Butterwick Suite, was absolutely stunning. The modern yet tasteful decor was a perfect blend with the historic house. The bathroom, with its art deco style and modern touches, was a highlight, especially the amazing shower. The breakfast was delicious and had everything we needed. We've stayed at much more expensive places that didn't come close to the standard here. We will definitely recommend and hope to return.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the little extra touches like coffee making facilities and bottles of water by our bed made us feel well taken care of. The breakfast room was gorgeous, complete with a roaring fire, and the breakfast itself had a wide variety of options. We also loved the beautiful garden and the opportunity to see the Alpaca and ponies. it was excellent value for money and we couldn't have asked for a better stay.
