I was pleasantly surprised by the charming and traditional atmosphere of the hotel. The lounge and bar with log fires added a cozy touch to the overall experience. The location, right beside a lovely bay with a beach, was absolutely fabulous. Being in my fifties, I enjoyed the fact that the clientele had a mature vibe.

Although we encountered a minor inconvenience with the noise from a loud ventilator in our room, it was easily manageable by closing the window. The lack of a window in the bathroom for ventilation was a small drawback.

The location of the hotel is quite unique, being on the edge of a remote area and close to Scourie beach. The hotel offers comfortable beds and a nice breakfast, and the staff is polite and welcoming. Additionally, the lounge area is very comfortable and provides a relaxing atmosphere for guests.

Some guests have mentioned that the room decor is outdated, which may not be to everyone's taste.

The hotel is perfectly located right beside a lovely little bay with a beach, offering breathtaking views. The rooms have been updated and are spacious, well decorated, and very clean. The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. The hotel also has a dog-friendly bar, perfect for enjoying meals with your furry friend.

No electric socket near the mirror for haidryer use. Shower was difficult to obtain stable temperature.

Immaculate public rooms and bedrooms. Exceptional property with excellent dinner and breakfast. Friendly staff and lovely gestures like providing tea/coffee sandwiches and cakes. Beautiful views of grazing sheep. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at a charming Highland hotel. Our room had a stunning view of grazing sheep on the nearby hill, and the beds were incredibly cozy with thick duvets that kept us warm. The dinner and breakfast were both excellent, and the staff were genuinely lovely. We especially enjoyed the friendly service and the cozy atmosphere around the fire in the evening. we highly recommend this hotel for a memorable Highland experience.

Located in a stunning area, close to popular driving routes and nature trails. Friendly and helpful staff, always available to share local knowledge and make suggestions. the hotel provides fast charging facilities for electric vehicles, which is a great convenience for eco-friendly travelers.

The décor is outdated and in need of renovation. Prices are expensive for what is offered, especially when it comes to the set menu offering.

I chose to stay in Scourie and this hotel was the obvious choice. The staff were excellent - efficient and very friendly. The owner was a genial host, introducing guests to each other, which was enjoyable as a solo traveler. The restaurant offered a delicious and good value pub-style menu in addition to the 4-course dinner option. The rooms were small but cozy, with comfortable beds. The breakfast was exceptionally good and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and charming.

Would recommend this hotel.
