We had a perfect retreat at this hotel, nestled on a hillside with stunning views of the Loch. The owner, Lesley, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was modern and comfortable, with a cozy bed and all the amenities we needed. The breakfast, delivered to our room, was fresh and delicious. We loved the little touches like a fridge stocked with milk, juice, and yogurts, as well as fruit and sweet treats. We also enjoyed the option of making our own hot drinks with plenty of tea and coffee supplied. The peaceful and picturesque surroundings made it the ideal place for a relaxing getaway.

During my Christmas stay at this rural location, I absolutely adored the cozy atmosphere and personalized experience. the friendly host made sure that we were well-catered for, with a comfortable and spotlessly clean room, along with a fridge that stocked all our favorite beverages. the location of this hotel was in close proximity to the popular tourist destination - making it easy to explore the area. Lastly, the breakfast was absolutely scrumptious - it was the perfect way to start each day, with a range of freshly prepared treats!

some of the lighting in the hotel was not as good as it could have been, making it difficult to navigate around at times.

Sheildaig Farm Balloch is situated in a very popular tourist area, surrounded by lovely tree-lined fields above the town. Guests can enjoy a bit of fun on the Loch with the peddle boats, as it is conveniently close to the centre of Balloch. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with efficient heating to warm up after a day out. The breakfast options are excellent, with a choice of cooked or continental, and the host provides generous portions. The property is exceptionally clean, and the host is friendly and accommodating.

The Wi-Fi signal at the hotel was a bit weak, although 4G connectivity worked fine, so it wasn't a major issue.

We had a wonderful stay at Sheildaig Farm Bed & Breakfast. the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the stunning surroundings and were able to have breakfast outside in the garden, which was delicious. the view of the Loch from the top of the garden was breathtaking. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a fridge stocked with drinks and snacks. it was a relaxing and luxurious escape, and we would definitely stay here again.

We had a perfect overnight stop at this friendly and clean B&B. The host went above and beyond with recommendations and gluten-free options for me. The rural location offered stunning views and quiet surroundings. The comfortable bed and well-maintained grounds made for a serene stay. The cooked breakfast served by the bubbly host was delicious and the dog-friendly policy was a bonus. We will definitely be returning in the future.
