Wonderful homely accommodation with tea and coffee facilities in the room and a great breakfast spread with so many options. TV in the room and great wifi. Easy 20 min walk from the train station and a pub/restaurant right across the road. Convenience store and other small shops just down the road. Perfect for a night stopover before an early flight. Nice clean room, not en suite - a good comfy bed, and the owners were very pleasant and advised me where to go to eat which was across the road. The unusual aspect was that it was situated at the end of the Airport Runway, and also a train runs along the coast at bottom of the garden. It was an enjoyable stay and location.

As adventure travelers, we loved the proximity to the airport, making it convenient for our early morning flights. The pub/restaurant across the street with an outdoor patio was a great spot to unwind after a long day. The shared bathroom was clean and well-stocked with nice soaps and lotions. We also enjoyed the front row seat to the take offs and landings, with the planes stopping before bedtime and not disturbing our sleep. The owners packed us a bag with juice and snacks for our early departure, a thoughtful gesture.

We felt right at home, no complaints whatsoever.

This hotel is very clean and has great facilities. The parking is convenient and transportation is easy, with the hotel being located not so close to the airport runway but very close to the airport itself. The breakfast is delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful.

It was clean and spacious, but I prefer having a private bathroom. Another issue was that the walls were a bit thin, and I could hear the guest in the next room on their phone late at night.

We had a fantastic stay at a Bed & Breakfast in Rochford. The owners were attentive and entirely unobtrusive, providing excellent service. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The hotel's location near the airport was convenient for our travel needs. Additionally, there was a decent restaurant right across the street from the hotel.

I had an early flight the next morning and the owner of this B&B was extremely accommodating. They provided me with a "breakfast bag" since I would be leaving before breakfast was served. The room and house were impeccably clean and everything was in order. The bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the tea/coffee/water provided in the room. The owners were pleasant and check-in was quick and efficient. The location is perfect if you're flying from Southend Airport, with the option to walk or leave your car there. a beautiful B&B that I would book again without hesitation.

The noise from the airplanes running their engines for take-off was a bit disruptive, especially for someone who values a peaceful environment. Additionally, it took some time to fix the TV as previous guests had changed the language settings, but the hosts were quick to resolve the issue.
