The location was perfect, just a short walk from the city center, allowing us to escape the noise and have a peaceful rest. the host, Tracy, was amazing and provided us with all the information we needed in advance. She even had a little box with the room key outside the wall, so we could easily check in even if she wasn't there. the breakfast provided was exactly what we needed, with a variety of options to choose from.

The mattress could have been thicker as it was a bit uncomfortable. It would have been nicer to have some additional drawers in the room for storage.

We got great value for our money with a spacious and comfortable room at Southville Guest House. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the city center and popular areas like North St and the Waterfront. The staff were incredibly friendly and the guest house was kept clean to high standards.

The only thing that could make the breakfast option even better would be to have real butter in the fridge.
