My husband and I recently stayed at this charming guesthouse for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The Bute room we stayed in had a comfortable bed and a stunning view. The breakfasts were delicious, especially the selection of fresh fruit like blueberries and strawberries. We also enjoyed spending time in the beautiful lounge on the first floor. The overall atmosphere of the guesthouse was welcoming and cozy.

We had a wonderful stay at the guesthouse. The location is superb, right next to the sea and promenade with a pebble beach for walking our dog. Sandra, the host, was welcoming and gave us lots of advice on places to see and eat. The room was spacious with a view of the sea, and it had everything we needed including a shower room and bathroom with toiletries. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. a fantastic experience.

The location of the guesthouse is fantastic, situated right next to the seafront at West Bay. The view from the first-floor lounge is amazing, especially on a sunny evening. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, and the ensuite bathroom was well-designed. The breakfast menu offered a variety of options, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. It's a shame I didn't get to meet Matt.

Parking was limited, which caused inconvenience for some guests.

The location was perfect, close to the ferry port, local restaurants, and shops, with a stunning promenade just a stone's throw away. The staff, Kenny and Lesley, were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making the whole place feel like a home away from home. Plus, they serve amazing coffee!

Located right on the waterfront, this hotel offers amazing views down the Firth. the breakfast is one of the best I've had, with local eggs and locally smoked salmon. the staff is very friendly and accommodating, treating you like a house guest. the rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, with great décor and excellent en suite facilities. this is a delightful place to stay.

The exterior of the building can be misleading, so don't let that put you off. Some rooms may not have a view, but you can always go to the guests' lounge for an awesome view.

Ik had een fantastisch verblijf! De locatie is geweldig, op loopafstand van het centrum en vlakbij het busstation. Het personeel is briljant en behulpzaam. Het zwembad is groot en schoon en de kamer was prima, werd elke dag schoongemaakt. Bedankt! Ik kom graag weer terug.

I gotta say, the value for money at this place was a steal! The room was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed. And let me tell you, the location was simply perfect. Right on the waterfront, no noisy roads, just peaceful views all around. The staff were absolutely amazing too, super friendly and always ready to help.

Breakfast delights, I gotta admit the only thing that could've made it better was if the food was freshly made. But hey, I understand, there were only a couple of rooms booked at that time.

Great hotel! the staff were friendly and treated us like old friends. We splurged on a room with a water view, and it was definitely worth it. the second-floor sitting room also had a beautiful view, so even if you don't have your own, you can still enjoy it. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Plus, the hotel was beautifully decorated throughout, making it a visually pleasing experience.

There were a few downsides. the single beds in the room were narrow and high, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

We especially enjoyed the fact that our room had a coffee machine, allowing us to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee in the comfort of our room. the bed was incredibly comfortable and the linens were coordinated beautifully.

While our overall experience was wonderful, there were a couple of negatives to note. the guesthouse had a lot of stairs which made it a bit difficult to navigate, especially when carrying luggage.

I recently stayed at the St. Ives guesthouse for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. The recently renovated property was tastefully redecorated and had a clean, classic decor. The room and bathroom facilities were spotless, and the comfortable king-size bed made for a great night's sleep. The breakfast, served in a room overlooking the sea, was delicious and plentiful. The family-run establishment was run by Jon and Katia, who were unfailingly helpful and attentive to ensure a enjoyable stay.

I do recommend this hotel.
