The hosts were excellent, welcoming and knowledgeable. Unbelievably good breakfast with incredible choices. Great location with easy access to buses. Gym facilities included, relaxing and well-equipped.

The breakfast at St John's Lodge was absolutely outstanding! There were so many delicious options to choose from, and the quality of the food was top-notch. The attention to detail in the presentation and taste was remarkable. We couldn't have asked for a better breakfast experience during our stay. Furthermore, the location of the lodge was perfect, situated in the heart of the town and just a short walk from Lake Windermere. The owners, Rich and Adriana, were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The complimentary loan umbrellas were a thoughtful touch that came in handy during our stay. We didn't get a chance to visit the health club, so we can't comment on that aspect. our time at St John's Lodge was fantastic, and we highly recommend it for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

I had an amazing stay at this 4-star hotel. The room was pure luxury and the price was fantastic. The breakfast provided a wide variety of choices and was absolutely delicious. I loved the comfy guest lounge and the outdoor garden seating area. The host and staff were all extremely friendly, polite, and attentive, making me feel very welcome. The hotel is within walking distance to the town center, which was convenient. The parking arrangements were excellent as well. I was extremely impressed with the comfort, quality services, and luxurious amenities provided at this hotel.

I had a truly pleasant stay at St John's Lodge. The room I stayed in was cozy and clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast - there were so many delicious vegetarian and vegan options to choose from. The location of the lodge was also very convenient, within walking distance of both the lake and the town center.

I did have a bit of difficulty with parking in the evening as all three spaces were full. However, I was able to find parking on a side road nearby.

The spa was a great way to warm up after a day exploring in the wintry winds. The hotel also had an on-site car park, free Wi-Fi, and a bar/lounge area where I enjoyed a welcome drink. The service was impeccable, with housekeeping and laundry services available. this place provided enhanced comfort and quality services, making my stay truly luxurious.

During our Christmas stay, we had a great time in the Lake District! the location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful nature and close to great restaurants and pubs. the breakfast offered a lot of options, especially for vegetarians like us. the room was very comfy and clean, with a good amount of space.

One problem we encountered was the noise from the surrounding rooms, which disturbed our sleep. there was a lack of facilities for leisure activities, which would have been a nice addition to our festive stay.
