Dog-friendly policies and welcoming atmosphere.

My stay was quite frustrating due to several issues. The stairs were steep and narrow, making it difficult to navigate with luggage. The room, though charming, was extremely dusty, and the noise levels from the bar below made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, I found the breakfast options to be overpriced and lacking in variety, which left me disappointed.

The staff were very welcoming and happy to assist with

any questions we had during our visit. The breakfast was particularly delightful, with freshly cooked dishes and a fantastic variety of choices. Our room was spacious but did have a few signs of wear and tear. Overall, a pleasant stay with warmth and charm.

The Stag At Stow is a delightful mix of historical charm and modern amenities. The warm atmosphere and attentive staff made every meal enjoyable, especially breakfast with locally sourced ingredients. The quirky, rustic decor really added character to our stay.

However, I did notice the bathroom could use some updates, including grab rails for safety. Additionally, the acoustics of the building let in quite a bit of noise from the pub below, which could be disruptive at night.

how a hotel can charge £135 per night and not include breakfast is beyond ridiculous. during breakfast, a rude staff member insisted we sit apart, even in a virtually empty room! also, my room was so small, it lacked even basic drawer space, I should have been offered an upgrade for my discomfort.

Some rooms are exceptionally cramped with inadequate storage space!!! The absence of essentials like fridges in upgraded rooms is baffling!!! Creaky floors lead to a noisy stay, especially from outside!!! Tight parking access can be a hassle!!!

i had a great stay at stag at stow. the staff were super friendly, and my room was large and comfy. parking was easy, and it’s just a short walk to local pubs if you're looking for a drink at 10:15 pm. the charming decor added so much character to the experience.

Clean family suite with a flat-screen TV. Free parking is a plus. Kids loved the menu. Bar area was nice, but noise from the lounge was annoying.

A charming haven in the Cotswolds with attentive staff, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Although our room had some visible signs of wear, including a shower screen needing attention, the location is superb, right near local attractions. Parking was convenient, and breakfast, albeit a bit slow, was delicious.

i loved the fab central location of stag at stow, right near the local attractions. the room was small but had so much character with wood beams and nice decor. the bathroom was especially lovely, and the bed was super comfy. the staff was friendly, and they easily accommodated my request for a late check-out. plus, the car park was super handy for my after-check-out walk.
