The room in the main house was beautiful with stunning views and charming English decor. The Brasserie restaurant served excellent food and had friendly staff. Dining outside on the terrace was delightful. The gardens were lovely and the nearby canal walk was a must-do.

I got great value for my money on this stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful garden view. The location of the hotel was stunning and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Hotel breakfast could have been improved by offering more variety and ensuring all the necessary condiments, like sugar and milk, were readily available.

The reception staff were very helpful and accommodating. the restaurant had a good atmosphere and the food was tasty. the building and garden were lovely. There was a nice walk along the canal towpath.

The room we initially booked was dark and claustrophobic with a view of a brick wall. the carpets on the stairs were threadbare and needed replacing.

The location near the canal and impressive gardens was perfect. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. And the price of the bed and breakfast was affordable. We also appreciated the adequate car park.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by its value for money. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and service provided. The hotel's location was great, just a short taxi ride into Stonehouse where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was great and there's nothing that I believe needs improvement.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The dinner menu was excellent, and the restaurant reservations were well organized, providing a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. The rooms were cozy and warm, with incredibly comfortable beds. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season, with festive trees and a lit fire in the main bar area. The hotel grounds were stunning, and I particularly enjoyed walking along the canal at the end of the gardens, providing a picturesque setting.

The food was absolutely delicious, with beautifully presented dishes that were a delight to eat. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The view from my room was also stunning, and I particularly enjoyed the quirky touch of a Highland cow picture in the bathroom.

We had a wonderful stay here! The room was comfortable and spacious, with quirky decor and a great view. The Tassimo coffee machine and scent diffuser added a nice touch. The shower was excellent, and the breakfast included plenty of options for us pescatarians, including 3 veggie sausages! The hotel grounds were beautifully kept, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for visiting nearby attractions such as Tetbury, Westonbirt Arboretum, Slimbridge Wildlife Trust, and Dr Jenner's House. a fantastic experience!

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. They even cleaned our room after housekeeping had left, which was a nice touch. The location of the hotel was great, as it was close to both the motorway and the Stroud canal, making it convenient for both transportation and afternoon walks. The restaurant food was excellent and the staff there were also very attentive. we had a lovely experience at this hotel.
