We had a fantastic weekend getaway. The staff at the hotel were excellent, providing us with plenty of travel information and recommendations for the local area. The property was beautifully maintained, with stunning gardens that were in full bloom during our visit. We particularly enjoyed the bright and cozy atmosphere of the main house, where our room was located. Despite being on the smaller side, the room was perfect in every way. The food and service at the restaurant were top-notch, and we especially loved sitting in the glassed-in area with its pleasant views and abundant natural light.

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike about our stay. The hotel, staff, and facilities were all amazing.

Spent a relaxing birthday weekend here. Staff looked after us really well, feeling like a real treat. Beautiful gardens and breakfasting in the conservatory with garden views. Excellent dinner on my birthday. Enjoyed dinners at Acorn Inn too. Spa facilities included in stay - loved the pool and hot tub. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Welcoming chocolates in the room.

I gotta say, my stay at Summer Lodge was worth every penny! The room was comfy, clean, and had all the amenities I needed. The location was spot-on for a peaceful getaway, with beautiful gardens and that classic English vibe. And can I just say, the staff were absolutely top-notch – pleasant, engaging, and always ready to assist.

The breakfast, though generally superb, could have been improved with a bit more variety. But hey, apart from that small thing, I really can't complain!

This hotel is pure luxury from arrival to departure with exclusive amenities that exceeded my expectations. the staff provided impeccable service and made me feel incredibly welcomed. the Spa & wellness centre was a relaxing oasis with an indoor swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi, as well as various body treatments and massages. the heated swimming pool and sun loungers in the sun terrace were also highlights.

The only minor issue was the lack of atmosphere in the restaurant and bar, which made it uncomfortable to converse in a whisper. Although the quiet background music could have helped to create a more comfortable and relaxing environment, it didn't significantly affect my experience.

Fantastic stay in this beautiful place! We had a wonderful little cottage room with a glorious copper bath tub and flame gas fire. The service was incredible, and the lunch and dinner were absolutely delicious - the chef is really good! The grounds are glorious, and we enjoyed a fabulous sunny walk through the park opposite. The massage by Rosemary was completely relaxing and memorable. we had a completely amazing experience at Summer Lodge Country House. I highly recommend it.
