The B&B is a perfect base for exploring the South Yorkshire Dales with spacious rooms and a delicious breakfast. Friendly hosts, comfy beds, and helpful amenities like a reading lamp and beverage facilities make it a home away from home. Just watch out for the occasional noise and pet mess outside.

The breakfast with their own free-range eggs was divine. the garden and library were a treat. I loved fishing at the surrounding waters, and the complimentary WiFi was a bonus.

I was impressed with the layout of the room provided, with a bedroom upstairs and a dining table downstairs. the shower and toilet located downstairs were a perfect way to relax after a long day of walking. the personal use dining/lounge area added a nice touch to the accommodation.

The only minor drawback I noticed was the lack of storage space in the room.

Our family, including our dog, stayed at Sweetbriar Cottage for two nights while exploring the charming Northern English countryside. the warm welcome from the owners, delightful guest area for children to play, and huge, homemade English breakfast were highlights.

The location of the cottage is ideal, being close to the local pub and offering great walks nearby. It is also conveniently situated for easy access to neighboring villages. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with beverage facilities and biscuits provided. The host is accommodating and the breakfast is delicious, served on hot plates. Guests can request their breakfast order the night before.

There was some traffic noise from the nearby road and occasional noise from children and dogs.

The location was stunning with plenty of nearby activities and restaurants to enjoy. We loved the fact that the room was clean and spacious, with lovely added touches such as fresh flowers and USB charging lamps. the breakfast was delicious and we were able to choose from a generous menu selection.

Our stay was cut short due to a large group of campers making noise right outside our room late into the night.

Excellent hosts, attentive and cooked great breakfasts. Lounge, large TV, table, and nice bathroom downstairs. Large room with good size double bed and two bunks upstairs. Tea, coffee, biscuits, and small fridge provided. No locks on doors. Countryside full of amazing walks and views. Well worth considering.

This hotel is excellent value for money, with affordable prices for a stay that includes attention to detail in every aspect. The location is easily accessible to neighbouring villages, with great walks down to the river and a local pub close by. The garden area is a lovely addition, and the rooms have a dining table downstairs for convenience. The breakfast served on hot plates is a nice touch.

From the attention to detail in the cottage, with everything we could possibly need, to the delicious and plentiful breakfast, we were blown away. the comfortable and spacious bedroom provided ample room for our children to play, both inside and outdoors. The village and cottage were absolutely stunning - clean, spacious, and well-presented. We were also offered a table at a local pub which was a thoughtful gesture. The location was great, with easy access to neighboring villages and beautiful walks through the Dales. Having our own sitting/dining room to relax in after a long day of walking was a real treat.
