We stood in our own grounds and found the staff to be lovely and helpful. The hotel was clean and our room had recently been redecorated, making it quite luxurious. The building itself was absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast was good and the bed was very comfortable. We also appreciated the amenities provided in our room like the hairdryer, iron, and ironing board. this place offered enhanced comfort and quality services.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

As older guests, we loved the modern annexe with all its mod-cons. The shower was wonderfully relaxing, and the coffee and tea tray had everything we needed in the morning. The staff were friendly and even called to check if our room was okay. The lounge and courtyard seating looked comfy and inviting, perfect for enjoying breakfast or a glass of wine.

We especially loved the new and gorgeous clean bathroom. the breakfast had delicious gluten-free options, and we enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds. the hotel offered excellent customer service, accommodating our request for a larger room for our family. Our son was well taken care of by the staff. We would definitely return for another stay.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, with it being close to the city centre and right next to a restaurant. The rooms are nicely refurbished, including the bathrooms, and the staff provide fantastic service. The breakfast is excellent and there is even an electric car charging feature available.

Some amenities were lacking, such as a toilet brush and facilities for sanitary product disposal.

What a great start to the new year! the team at this hotel really know how to make you feel special. the complementary bottles of fizz and hot water bottles were just what we needed. the beautiful grounds made for a fantastic location to explore.

Lovely atmosphere very close to downtown Truro. One evening we ate in the on-site restaurant, which had excellent food with local ingredients. The service was friendly, albeit a bit confused and slow. We found plenty of interesting restaurants within easy walking distance in town for the rest of our stay. The hotel itself is a beautiful old mansion converted into a country house hotel. Our room was sumptuous, comfortable, and had a large, elegant bathroom. The grounds and public rooms were lovely, and there was lots of free parking. We received a great online deal, making it excellent value for the money. I highly recommend this hotel for its charming atmosphere and convenient location near downtown Truro.
