We had a wonderful stay at the Angel Inn. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore all the nearby sites and shops. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room, number 4, was beautifully designed and although on the smaller side, it was of high quality and very peaceful. The only consideration would be the steep steps leading down into the bathroom, which may pose a challenge for those with limited mobility. Additionally, the breakfast provided was excellent, ensuring a great start to our days.

Cosy and quaint rooms with comfortable beds and a fan provided for warm weather. Courtyard at the back was a great spot for afternoon tea and relaxation. Breakfasts were of high quality with the option to customize your order. Key location facts: Close proximity to the Petworth Festival and attractions such as Petworth House and Pulborough Brooks RSPB reserve.One more advantage: Friendly and efficient staff who made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

Limited options for vegetarians and vegans on the menu. Green emergency exit light in the room was too bright at night.

The staff were super friendly and efficient, despite their youth! Loved the character of the Inn and the town of Petworth. Enjoyed the garden at the back, good wi-fi. Parking not a problem. The hotel is very charming, and we were warmly welcomed. Philippe had gone out of his way to enable us to check in early, and he and all the staff were very friendly, attentive, and professional. The room was extremely comfortable. We had dinner, too, which was delicious. A very good stay. Staff are friendly, food is great, the place is dog-friendly but still spotlessly clean. Have now stayed here a couple of times, and would definitely come back / recommend. I love the unique rooms with their individual decor, too. Although the building is very old, it’s been decorated really tastefully and is so comfortable. Even the dog got a comfy bed of her own!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The location was perfect, with plenty of parking and the opportunity to wander around the village and visit various places in Sussex. The service was impeccable, with the staff being friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly and offered a welcome drink. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and extremely comfortable. I had everything I needed, from ironing facilities to a sitting area and terrace with garden furniture. The hotel also provided excellent amenities, including free toiletries, a washing machine, dryer, and even cookware/kitchen utensils. Additionally, the flat-screen TV and carpeted floors added to the overall comfort of my stay.

While my overall experience at this venue was exceptional, I did find one minor issue. There was a mix-up over rooms, which was slightly inconvenient.

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel is situated in a perfect location, right near the center of town, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The room itself was exceptionally comfortable and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities we could ask for. We especially appreciated the air conditioning, as it was quite hot during our visit. The bathroom was enormous and well-equipped, with a large bath and separate shower. The view from our room over the courtyard garden was beautiful.

The breakfast served here was delicious, using fresh and locally sourced produce, and the service was top-notch. this hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services, making it a memorable experience for me.

Our room was almost unbearably hot, making it difficult to sleep, despite the hot weather. Additionally, the room lacked basic facilities such as a telephone, iron/ironing board, and a hair dryer.
