angel posting house & livery was a genuine "olde worlde" hotel with friendly staff. the room was spacious and the location was perfect, right on the high street and a short walk from the train station. there was plenty of choice for food and drink nearby, and the hotel had a superb café on the ground floor for breakfast. staying here felt like a chance to experience an old coaching inn.

uncomfortable bed

I had a fantastic stay at this place! The location couldn't be more perfect, right in the heart of the town. Being situated on the cobbled High Street, it was so convenient to have everything within walking distance. The service and housekeeping were top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff on shift. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed and offered a refreshing welcome drink. The room amenities were excellent, from the ironing facilities to the tea and coffee facilities, I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The room itself was spacious and inviting, with a cozy sitting area and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also much larger than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. the attention to detail and the quality of service really made my stay here memorable.

The staff were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. The rooms were full of character, which is always exciting to see. The hotel has a great history and is located perfectly for dining out and going to the theater.

they provided complimentary hot chocolate and cookies in the lobby, which was a nice touch. the hotel was located in the heart of the town, close to great shopping spots and restaurants. the hotel room I stayed in had a gorgeous view of the city that I found quite enjoyable.

Despite the convenient location and the complementary festive treats, the hotel experience wasn't what I hoped for. the bed was old and saggy, and the pillows were flat.
