As a solo traveler, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and high standard of my room at Balmoral in Moffat. Unlike many other hotels, I had a beautiful sitting area in addition to a large bedroom. The room was impeccably clean and the staff were incredibly helpful. The free WiFi signal was excellent, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay. The hotel's location in a charming village was also a plus.

The breakfast is plentiful and well-presented, satisfying even the heartiest of appetites. the hotel offers amenities such as a mini fridge with complimentary drinks and fresh milk for tea and coffee.

The hotel's location on the high street was convenient for exploring the town, and I enjoyed the great view of the main street from my room. We stayed at the Balmoral Hotel for a weekend getaway and were thoroughly impressed. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a cozy lounge area with a sofa. The attention to detail was superb, with fresh milk, bottled water, and even cola in the fridge. We also appreciated the sweet treats and the complimentary bathrobes provided. The on-site restaurant was fantastic, offering delicious meals at affordable prices. The staff was welcoming and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful family-run hotel.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The location of the hotel is great, being close to the motorway but situated in a charming old market town. It is right in the centre, with parking available in the middle of the broad street. The rooms are bright, clean, and comfortable, with nice touches such as fresh flowers, biscuits. The en-suite bathrooms are spacious and well-appointed with Imperial Leather toiletries. The staff is pleasant and the breakfast is plentiful and well-cooked.

Some customers mentioned noise from the main street, which could be a bit disruptive at night.
