As a solo traveler, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and high standard of my room at Balmoral in Moffat. Unlike many other hotels, I had a beautiful sitting area in addition to a large bedroom. The room was impeccably clean and the staff were incredibly helpful. The free WiFi signal was excellent, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay. The hotel's location in a charming village was also a plus.

I do recommend this hotel.

If you're traveling further north or returning to the area, the location of the hotel is perfect as it is just off the motorway. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished, with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. The staff provide excellent service, offering assistance with bags and ensuring guests feel welcome. The breakfast is plentiful and well-presented, satisfying even the heartiest of appetites. the hotel offers amenities such as a mini fridge with complimentary drinks and fresh milk for tea and coffee.

The decor of the hotel is a bit tired.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel in a spacious suite. The room was equipped with everything I needed, including a fridge and a sofa. The hotel's location on the high street was convenient for exploring the town, and I enjoyed the great view of the main street from my room. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast served to the table was delicious – the porridge was the best I've ever had! The attention to detail and excellent facilities made my stay truly enjoyable.

The room I stayed in was exceptional. It had a lovely bathroom with thoughtful touches like a biscuit barrel and a fridge with fresh milk. The comfortable armchair and comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep. The breakfast in the morning was also top-notch. I highly recommend this room at Balmoral. I'll definitely recommend this hotel.
