We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The best aspects were the cleanliness , friendly staff , and great location. The breakfast was also fantastic.

Lovely old inn with a nice atmosphere and ambience. Room was nicely done and had comfortable bed. Free wifi, tea, coffee, bottled water and biscuits. Staff were friendly. Dinner was fantastic. Refurbishment was thorough and dining area was revamped. Menu was refreshingly different with very good meals. Staff were first rate. Breakfast room was lovely and had a good selection. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Reasonable price.

We stayed at a charming inn located in the Cheltenham area, just a short drive from the Portsmouth ferry. The room was bright, big, and comfortable, with beautiful rural decor. The staff were welcoming and friendly, especially Nicole, Becky, and Jack. The service was excellent, and the food in the restaurant was as good as going out to a specialist restaurant. The inn was also nestled in a lovely area with a roaring fire, creating a cozy atmosphere for our family's birthday celebration.

The occasional disturbance caused by lorries parked in the road lay-by across the gardens, which started up at 5am.

It was conveniently placed, making it easy for me to tour the area. Secondly, the service and housekeeping were impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They even greeted me with a welcome drink, which was a lovely touch. Additionally, the room amenities were top-notch. I had everything I needed, from ironing facilities to tea and coffee facilities. The attention to detail here really made a difference. Lastly, the terrace and garden furniture provided a serene and relaxing atmosphere where I could unwind after a long day.

All in all, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. It truly has it all, from the excellent service to the beautiful surroundings.

I had an incredible stay at this luxurious hotel here. The location was perfect for the events I was attending and it was conveniently placed for touring the area. The service and housekeeping were top-notch, and I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived with a complimentary drink. The staff went above and beyond to make sure all of my requests were met and even provided amenities for my pet. The room itself was well-equipped with ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee-making facilities. I also enjoyed spending time on the terrace and the rooms were so soundproofed that I had a peaceful night's sleep. The hotel had beautiful garden furniture and free toiletries were provided. I loved being able to relax and watch a movie on the flat-screen TV and the carpeted floor added an extra level of comfort. The dining experience was superb with a restaurant and bar/lounge area, and the breakfast options were delicious. I also appreciated the picnic area and tables for when I wanted to enjoy a meal outdoors. the staff, amenities, and location made this a truly memorable stay.

I recently had a wonderful stay at the charming Beckford Inn. My partner and I stayed for three nights to celebrate our anniversary. The beautifully furnished rooms provided a comfortable and luxurious retreat. The complimentary bottle of Prosecco and beer was a lovely touch. The restaurant offered a delectable range of dishes, including a mouthwatering passion-fruit cheesecake. The staff were friendly and efficient, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location, overlooking picturesque countryside, was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. a fantastic experience at a great value.

the inn was even better than our previous stay in beckford. the room was beautifully decorated, equipped, and had lovely extras like complimentary drinks in the fridge. the staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. we loved the delicious food, especially the bream in lemon-grass sauce, and the effort made to source local ingredients.

One staff member seemed unhappy and unhelpful on one morning.

Spacious room with Roberts radio, fan, and comfy chairs. Large comfy bed, excellent bathroom. Fresh milk, small fridge provided. Thoughtful and individual touches. Delightful, friendly staff, varied breakfast menu. Good evening meal. Loyalty discounts midweek.

We stayed at a hotel during Christmas and we really enjoyed the location which was close to a main road, but still, we did not hear any noise. the staff was polite and friendly, and the price was very reasonable. the breakfast was excellent and it included a wide range of cooked breakfast options. We were also given clean towels and bottled water every day which was a nice touch.

The value for my money was excellent and the room was clean and beautifully decorated. The location was convenient for exploring the south west, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

The hotel breakfast menu could benefit from offering a wider variety of options.
