Great location, just across from the beach. Lovely room with comfy bed, good WiFi. Friendly and helpful staff, made us and our dog feel welcome. Fantastic breakfast with lots of choices. Will definitely return to this charming coastal town.

We had a lovely romantic escape in this seaside hotel. the room was spacious and stylish, with stunning sea views from the balcony. the ensuite bathroom was great, with a large shower and all very clean. We enjoyed the breakfast, with a good variety of options to choose from. the location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to the seafront and a charming seaside town to explore.

The noise from the bar in the entrance was quite loud at times, which was a bit distracting. the bed was a bit sloped, with the head lower than the feet, which made it a bit uncomfortable.

I recently had an incredible stay at a charming hotel in Sidmouth. the location couldn't have been better. Situated right on the seafront, I was able to enjoy stunning views from my balcony overlooking the esplanade. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with very modern bathrooms. The staff were warm and friendly, ensuring I had a pleasant experience throughout my stay. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious, with hot food ordered from the kitchen and even a sausage for my furry friend! I was truly impressed by the attention to detail and value for money offered by this hotel.

This hotel is a real gem! We stayed for one night and were blown away by the stunning views from our room. It was incredible waking up to such a beautiful sight right on the seafront. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our stay, from the friendly staff to the lovely rooms with their individual features. The location in the center of the seafront couldn't have been better, with shops, pubs, and restaurants just a minute's walk away. And not to mention the breakfast! We were spoilt for choice with the huge selection of freshly prepared fruit, pastries, and hot options. They even had sausages for the dog! For just £10, the dinner deal was a steal, with a delicious 3-course meal and coffee to finish. Plus, we discovered a guest lounge where we could relax and have a chat after dinner. We were truly impressed and will definitely be returning to this hotel.

I recently stayed at Bedford Hotel for a week during Folk Week. The restaurant food was excellent, and the receptionists were cheerful and helpful. The hotel was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff were outstanding, especially when my elderly father had a fall and they quickly called an ambulance. They even waived the charges for the nights he couldn't stay. The room was spacious with a lovely sea view, although it got warm at night due to the south-facing window. The breakfast had plenty of choices, and the owner was friendly and obliging. a wonderful stay.

We had a fantastic stay in a hotel located right on the seafront. Our room offered a breathtaking view of the rolling sea, and we could even enjoy breakfast in the restaurant allocated for residents with dogs. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast selection exceeded our expectations. The hotel was also conveniently close to the town center, making it easy for us to explore the area.

Some guests were inconsiderate and allowed fire doors to slam shut, causing disturbance.

The breakfast is also excellent, with a buffet offering a wide variety of options. Additionally, the hotel has pet-friendly facilities.

The bar area could use some improvement, as there is limited seating available.

I recently enjoyed a delightful short break at a charming seaside hotel in a lovely town. The hotel's location right on the seafront was perfect, allowing me to take in the stunning views of the esplanade from my room with a "partial sea-view" and a great balcony to enjoy the sea breeze. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel very welcome and even going above and beyond by providing bath sheets upon request. The breakfasts were a real highlight, with their delicious homemade pastries and hot food ordered from the kitchen. It was clear that the hotel pays attention to detail, using good quality ingredients and providing those delightful touches like dishes of butter, jam, and marmalade. The overall experience was excellent value for money and I can't wait to return.

I've stayed at Bedford 5 times previously which is recommendation enough! The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff are very professional and helpful. An excellent service. The location is excellent. My hubbie has terminal cancer and wanted to see the sea for the last time. Our room was amazing, comfortable and lush bed, etc. Doors opened onto a balcony and there was the sea. Made fab memories. The staff were so helpful especially as my hubbie was so poorly. I’m usually a cheap holiday abroad person but this has opened my eyes. Totally recommend.

Had an amazing weekend away! the hotel location was perfect with gorgeous views overlooking the beach. the room was comfortable and clean with a brand new bathroom. the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices with fresh and local ingredients. What we loved the most was the amazing 3-course dinner for only £15.00!

The assigned tables in the dining room were quite old fashioned and made it difficult to enjoy our meals comfortably. the lift door had to be manually closed after each use, causing some confusion among guests.
