We had a wonderful time at this charming country hotel. The location is perfect, nestled between Torbay Hospital and Newton Abbot, offering incredible views of the surrounding nature. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a well-appointed bathroom. The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast served was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. We especially enjoyed sitting on the decking/terraced area with our small dog, enjoying a coffee and a sandwich while taking in the lovely views.

The menu changes were a bit disappointing, as some of our favorite dishes had been altered.

the lack of a lift made it difficult for our handicapped companion to access the room. the rooms were not well insulated, as we could hear everything from the neighboring rooms and along the hall.
