We had the most fantastic experience at the Bird In Hand. It was my mum's birthday and we were a bit worried about the vegan options, but the chef went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary needs. The pub itself is beautiful, inside and out, with a cozy atmosphere and a lovely fireplace. Our waitress, Emily, was friendly and attentive, and the eco-friendly straws were a nice touch. The food was absolutely delicious, with my dad raving about the leg of lamb and my mum enjoying the special fish of the day. As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by the specially made roast-veg salad and the almond milk they brought me. The attention to detail and customer care were exceptional. And let's not forget the scrumptious desserts! I can't wait to return to the Bird In Hand. It truly was a fantastic experience that I highly recommend.

A delightful Valentine's evening at The Bird in Hand exceeded all expectations. The Thai prawn and mussel starter in a flavorful broth set the tone for an amazing meal. The entrecôte steak was truly the best I've ever had, cooked to perfection. The friendly staff even made my surf and turf request possible, elevating the dining experience. The sharing Erin mess dessert was a sweet end to a memorable evening. I can't wait to return, perhaps for their famous Sunday roast!

We also appreciated the free Wi-Fi in the rooms, as well as the additional amenities such as the electric kettle and AM/FM alarm clock. this place exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to come back.

During our Christmas stay, we enjoyed the lovely and spacious rooms, complete with all the necessary amenities like tea/coffee making facilities and ironing boards. the breakfast options were exceptional, with a wide variety of cereals, pastries, and hot dishes to choose from. the staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel welcomed and comfortable.

We found the evening meals to be overpriced and lacking in quality. we had booked a family room for four, but had to make the camp bed ourselves as the preferred sofa bed option was broken.

Lovely rural pub with friendly staff, great food, and quiet courtyard accommodation. Ample car parking available. Choice of indoor or outdoor seating for delicious breakfast in a beautiful garden area.

Location was convenient for my business trip. I could easily get to all my meetings in the area. the room was spacious and comfortable. the breakfast was decent and kept me going for the day.

The towels were changed every day, even though I left them hanging up. Coffee was not replenished, and I had to use a variety I didn't prefer.
