We had a wonderful stay at the Black Dog. the room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed. Donna, who served breakfast, was lovely and couldn't do enough for us. the staff, including Jack, were friendly and welcoming. the breakfast was tasty and decent-sized. the village pub was quiet, with no noise from the road or pub itself. a perfect stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms at this hotel. The pictures didn't do them justice! They were spacious and had all the basic amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, with a super king size and soft pillows. The modern bathroom was also a nice touch, with a large wardrobe for storage. The breakfast included in the price was delicious, with good quality ingredients and smaller excellent options to choose from.

The short check-in and check-out times. It would have been great to have a slightly earlier check-in and a slightly later check-out.

The breakfast was cooked to perfection, and the restaurant on Friday evening offered tasty and well-cooked dishes. the inn was conveniently located near picturesque lakes, providing a beautiful view for guests to enjoy.

The only downside was that the room was on the smaller side, making it a bit challenging to fully open the bathroom door with the large bed in place.
