This hotel is a great value for money. With its affordable prices, you get a lot of bang for your buck. The attention to detail is impressive, with well-equipped and comfy bedrooms that have everything you need, including toiletries and a very comfy bed. The location of the hotel is superb, being very close to the town centre and within walking distance to some lovely restaurants. Additionally, the breakfast served at this hotel is top-notch, with scrumptious scrambled eggs cooked to perfection and quality ingredients used.

All in all, our stay at this hotel was more than satisfactory.

Great location in the heart of town, with free and easy parking. the staff was friendly, polite and welcoming. the hotel had a warm and friendly atmosphere and was impeccably clean and well refurbished. the food was excellent and the local beer a real treat. the room was comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a short stay and the bedding was of a superb quality.

The room we booked was not as large as expected and with a hot day we could not have an enjoyable night's sleep even with the fan provided, as the room was very small. the delay in dinner service of 45 minutes was a letdown, but we understand that it might happen during peak times.

My stay at the Black Swan Inn in Pickering was fantastic. The room was a bit dated, but the bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a good TV and Wi-Fi connection. The ensuite bathroom was small but clean and functional. The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast, which was fresh and offered a great variety of choices. I especially enjoyed the local beers brewed on-site at the bar. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would highly recommend this lovely North Yorkshire inn. Our stay at the Black Swan Inn was a delightful experience. The location was superb, with secure parking and a quiet environment for a peaceful night's sleep. The recently updated rooms were beautiful and equipped with high-quality products, making them very comfortable. The staff, particularly Jill, were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast and evening meal were both delicious, although the hot breakfast could have been served hotter. However, Jill mentioned that they were in the process of getting a new oven installed, so it was understandable. Despite being a Grade 2 listed building without a lift, the stairs were manageable. I highly recommend this charming inn for its friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and excellent location.
