The Bluebell is located just next door to John Clare's cottage, adding a historical charm to the property. The staff are friendly and excellent, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The surrounding area is beautiful and the location is nice and quiet, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The rooms are cosy and charming, with a good choice of drinks available. The pub offers great food and the breakfast options are plentiful, catering to all tastes. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Felt like visiting family, no complaint.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely country inn. The location was ideal, with a charming museum next door and beautiful countryside to explore. Our room was clean and well-decorated, and the bathroom had a powerful shower. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We particularly loved the delicious breakfast and the cozy pub atmosphere.

The room was a bit small and lacked a window, which made it feel a bit cramped at times.

Located near Peterborough, The Bluebell Helpston offers a friendly and quaint village pub experience. The rooms are clean and well-decorated, with comfortable beds and wet rooms featuring rainwater-style showers. Guests can enjoy delicious meals made with local, high-quality ingredients, and there are even dog-friendly amenities available. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making guests feel welcome and at home. The hotel also provides thoughtful touches like robes, bottled water, and freshly made muffins.

One minor downside is that the TV in the rooms is small and only offers terrestrial channels.

The Bluebell in a little quiet village offers fantastic value for money. The recently renovated rooms are impeccable, with all the facilities of a four-star hotel room. The brilliant showers are a refreshing treat after a long day of exploring the beautiful village.

No room for improvement - everything was perfect!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The parking was convenient, and the location for Burghley House was perfect. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, away from the noise of nearest towns and city. After a day in Peterborough and before heading to Lincoln, this hotel was ideally located. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Lovely room with clean and thoughtful decor, equipped with all necessary facilities. Comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. Great breakfast options and quality hot cooked food. Convenient location with easy access to Peterborough and a nearby bus service. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Room: clean, comfortable, pretty courtyard. Amenities: good shower, nice linen, decent tea, bottled water, cafetier coffee. Breakfast: lovely, good quality produce, pot of tea. Service: excellent, staff couldn't do more

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

As foreign tourists, we were delighted by the quaint and self-contained unit at The Bluebell. The coffee and tea facilities were excellent, and the wet room was a great convenience. The unit was spotlessly clean and well-stocked with towels and other amenities. Despite a brief interaction with the proprietor, our stay was comfortable and perfect for a short visit.

I recently stayed at a lovely place and despite a few hiccups, I would definitely return. The room was clean, quiet, and well-appointed, providing a comfortable stay. The evening meal was excellent and the staff were friendly. I had a great night's sleep at The Bluebell. Although the breakfast timing was not ideal for business travelers, the staff kindly accommodated my early morning schedule and provided breakfast at 8 am. The wifi in the room was good, ensuring a convenient stay. I would recommend giving The Bluebell another chance as it has the potential to be a wonderful stay.

Amazing experience at this quaint hotel for New Year! the rooms were spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Loved the fact that our room was ground floor level, it provided easy access and made it easy to move in and out. We also enjoyed the simple yet well-cooked food and the excellent ale list.

Sadly, we didn't like the service. Some of the staff seemed grumpy and only paid attention to larger groups.
