The atmosphere was great, with a lovely look and feel to the hotel. the inn had a happy and relaxed vibe, creating a pleasant romantic escape. the location was also a key advantage, as it was on the edge of a quiet village and close to the River Dee, offering wonderful walks. the breakfast and dinner options were amazing, with well-prepared and presented dishes.

The room size was quite small, which made it difficult to move around, especially with luggage for a romantic escape. the car park was limited and often full, leaving guests to find alternative parking arrangements.

We had a lovely stay at Boat Inn in Aboyne. The accommodation in the Boat House was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The location was great, with beautiful views and a short stroll to the village. The breakfast and evening meals were delicious, with high-quality produce. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We even got an upgraded bedroom with a view! I would highly recommend this hotel.
