We booked this property for the antique fair at Newark and we are so pleased we came across this little gem. The accommodation is in a lovely village with a community shop and friendly locals. The property itself was extremely clean and comfortable with a country cottage feel. The hosts added nice touches like fresh flowers on the kitchen table. The refurbished country pub had a fantastic beer garden and excellent food. The hosts couldn’t have been friendlier or kinder. Excellent all round and we will definitely be back.

Would recommend this hotel.

The pub was incredible with lovely staff, amazing facilities, and a beautifully appointed room. The beer garden and small children's play area were clean and tidy. The hospitality from the staff and locals was second to none. The on-site cafe served a superb full English breakfast. a fantastic experience.

The value for money at this lovely little inn was excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location in the village was charming, with friendly locals and a convenient community shop. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, adding nice touches like fresh flowers and providing milk and butter in the fridge.

Breakfast choices could be improved with better presentation and more variety.

We had a wonderful stay in a beautifully refurbished pub situated in a picturesque village. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the owner personally greeted us and shared some interesting information about the place. Our room was clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and all necessary facilities. The bar had a lovely warm fire, and there were fantastic outdoor drinking areas. The evening meal was delicious, especially the braised blade of beef and Guinness Doughnut Cake. Breakfast included a variety of fresh and tasty options like fresh fruit, yoghurts, toast, and preserves. We also enjoyed chatting with the locals who made us feel at home. the atmosphere and facilities were top-notch.

stayed in flintham before, but this summer, boot and shoe inn exceeded expectations. super friendly staff, great price, and a pub with delicious food. they even accommodated dietary needs. highly recommend and will visit again.

I recently stayed at The Boot And Shoe Inn for a weekend getaway. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive despite being busy. The bed was amazingly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The peaceful and quiet location made it perfect for relaxation. The nearby area offered beautiful walks. The pub itself was tastefully decorated and had a lovely ambiance. We felt well taken care of and would definitely stay here again.

The landlord made every effort to rectify a difficult situation when the pub was closed and couldn't serve a cooked breakfast. The accommodation was top-notch with a well-designed kitchen. The evening meal was delicious, especially the pizza. The real ale selection was excellent, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The outside seating area was a nice touch. I highly recommend this inn for its warm welcome, comfortable rooms, great food, and accommodating staff.
