I had a fantastic stay at Broughton, a beautiful hotel with friendly staff. The location was perfect, within walking distance of popular attractions like Edinburgh Castle and The Royal Mile. The breakfast was delicious, and the room was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. Despite the limited space for four people and our luggage, the ensuite with a bath was convenient for the children. I highly recommend Broughton for a pleasant and enjoyable getaway.

the broughton hotel was perfectly placed for our visit to a wedding at mansfield traquair. it was also great for exploring the local sights and enjoying the nearby bars and eateries. the owners were friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming mom and pop hotel. Freddie, the owner, provided excellent Scottish hospitality. He cooked a delicious vegan breakfast for me and gave us helpful advice about the must-see places in the city. the hotel's location was perfect for sightseeing, with the Royal Mile just a short walk away. Freddie even prepared a breakfast tray for us when we had to leave early. the owners were thoughtful and attentive, making our stay memorable. We would love to come back to Broughton.

The room was perfect - clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The location was ideal, within walking distance to all the main Edinburgh attractions. Fiona gave us great recommendations for places to eat, and her suggestion of the Barony Tavern was spot on - the food was delicious! The breakfast at the hotel was the best we had during our entire stay in the UK. We were even able to leave our suitcases at the hotel while we explored Stirling for the day. We highly recommend the Broughton Hotel to anyone visiting the area. Thanks for a fantastic experience!

The full Scottish breakfast served in the morning was a highlight and truly delicious. Although the parking area was small and required cars to be moved around, the owners managed it efficiently and we didn't experience any issues. I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Broughton City Centre Hotel for anyone visiting Edinburgh.
