Spent Christmas at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised with the amenities. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the upmarket bar and lounge area, along with the delicious breakfast served with locally roasted coffee. The hotel was located in a central yet quiet location, with easy access to nearby restaurants and shops.

We were disappointed that meals were not served on Christmas Day, and no alternatives were provided by the hotel. We had to venture out to find a suitable restaurant, which was quite inconvenient.

I recently stayed at a lovely small hotel in a good location. The hotel was centrally located and easy to find, which was very convenient for exploring the area. The highlight of my stay was the wonderful meal I had at the hotel's restaurant downstairs. The food was beautifully prepared and of a high standard. Additionally, the breakfast provided in the room was well thought out and delicious.

There were a couple of drawbacks to my stay. the hotel parking is on the street, so I had to make sure to arrive early to secure a good spot.

A warm and friendly atmosphere greeted us at Capon Tree. The gin bar had a fantastic local vibe, and the food was superbly cooked and presented. The comfortable bed and pillows ensured a great night's sleep. The location was ideal for nearby attractions, especially Kelso races. I highly recommend this hotel for its value and excellent service.

We had a wonderful stay at Capon Tree Town House, a charming and centrally located hotel. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and their dedication to making the hotel a success was evident. The attached restaurant offered delicious meals, and the breakfasts were both generous and beautifully presented. The room was tastefully furnished and comfortable, and we appreciated the secure storage for our bikes.

This hotel is a hidden gem in a perfect location near the centre of town. The rooms are impeccably clean and offer great amenities, like a comfy bed and a shower. I particularly loved the little balcony in my room, where I could enjoy the view. The breakfast options were excellent, with a wide variety to choose from.

The breakfast had a great variety of options, including cold meats, bread, yoghurt, and cereals, perfect for starting the day off right.

Leaving was the only downside of my stay here.

The breakfast at Capon Tree Town House was a letdown. We were expecting a hot breakfast, but instead, we received a basket with muffins, croissants, oats, and plastic-looking apples. The substitution was not satisfactory, and I believe the price should have been reduced as well.
