Great location just off the main A34. Pleasant rooms with everything you need for a short stay. Very helpful staff and lovely food. Nice touches in the room like toiletries and bottled water. Comfy bed and pillows. Good hosts at the village type pub.

I had a pleasant stay at a charming village pub with lovely hosts. The racehorse themed rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The bed and pillows were top-notch, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast was very good with a variety of delicious options.

I recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The location was perfect, as it was so close to Highclere castle where I was attending the Christmas Markets event. The service at this place was impeccable, from the friendly and welcoming managers to the efficient and friendly staff in the dining restaurant. The room was tastefully decorated and very clean, with all the amenities I needed such as heating and tea/coffee facilities. The hotel also had a beautiful terrace with garden furniture where I could relax and enjoy the sunshine.

I would highly recommend this hotel to families.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially Becky who went above and beyond to assist us with our car problem. The food at the hotel was also excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast. The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable and quiet. The location of the hotel was perfect for our visit to Highclere Castle, as it was within walking distance and also close to the Christmas Markets event. The beautiful surroundings added to the charm of our stay.

There was a big bright green safety light in the room that stayed on all night, making it difficult to sleep.

I recently stayed at the Carnarvon Arms for a weekend getaway and it was a fantastic experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Hannah at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful, while the young bar staff engaged me in a delightful conversation about horses. The Czech server was attentive and even ran off photocopies for me at no extra charge. The breakfasts he served were delicious and made for a great start to the day. The room was clean and comfortable, with nice little touches like cookies and a towel shaped like an elephant on the bed. The added option of extra heating in the room was also a nice touch. I can't wait to return to the Carnarvon Arms for another enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful romantic escape at this charming inn. the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed two complimentary glasses of wine upon arrival. Our room was comfortably furnished, and the peaceful location was ideal for a romantic getaway.

Although the food was delicious, it was a bit pricey, and the service was slow at times. the inn's location was a bit remote, making it challenging to explore the surrounding area on foot.
