Wonderful stay at The Carre Arms Hotel. Our room was comfortable and inviting, with an attractive and stylish bathroom. The full English breakfast was thoroughly enjoyable. The young man who served us drinks provided excellent service, recommending delicious vegetarian options. The bar had a relaxing atmosphere. The cleanliness of our room was of a high standard. Despite a minor issue with the bedside lights, the bed and bedding were very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

During my Christmas stay, I particularly enjoyed the freshly cooked breakfast every morning and the festive decorations that were put up throughout the hotel. The location was also great, being close to shops and restaurants and just a short walk away from the town center. the staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel comfortable during my stay.

The hotel lacked a bit of maintenance in certain areas. The shower in my room was difficult to operate and the furniture appeared dated.

The room was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed, including a good supply of tea and coffee. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. I also had dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious, with generous portions. I would highly recommend staying here and I would definitely book again if I'm in the area.

Despite being on a main road and having a party downstairs, I couldn't hear a thing in my room. I didn't try the breakfast, but the Sunday lunch and light snack for dinner were absolutely delicious. The location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to town. it was a fantastic stay.
