I had a great stay at the hotel. The room was clean, quiet, and spacious. The leisure facilities were enjoyable and not overcrowded. The location was convenient, allowing easy access to various attractions in the Cotswolds and the Cheltenham racecourse. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep during our romantic escape. the temperature in the room was perfect, and there were plenty of power points and lights for convenience. the highlight was the amazing shower with its adjustable height. the breakfast choices were extensive and delicious, especially the scrambled eggs made with cream for an extra touch of luxury. the hot food buffet was regularly restocked, ensuring a satisfying meal every morning. the hotel's leisure and gym facilities were perfect for a short break, providing an opportunity to relax and stay active. Additionally, the spa treatment we had was outstanding, with friendly staff and a wide range of treatments to choose from.

One drawback was the expensive coffee from the bar, which was priced at £3.50 a cup. It was unnecessarily strong, and we ended up not finishing it.

The staff went out of their way to accommodate my spa appointment mix-up, allowing me to use the facilities and even granting early access to my room. The friendly receptionists, Lowri and Daisy, made me feel welcome, offering me a drink upon my arrival. The restaurant staff, Ollie and Veronica, provided outstanding service during my meals. My spa experience was equally amazing, thanks to the skilled therapists Dillize and Chelsea. Dillize's back massage impressed my husband, while Chelsea's facial treatment was absolutely fantastic. The spa offered unique techniques, although I have a preference for more pressure using fingertips rather than elbows. The food at the hotel was delicious, especially the slow-cooked shoulder of lamb and chicken from the complimentary menu. The only downside was the outdated appearance of the hotel, but the exceptional staff and food definitely make up for it. I highly recommend this hotel.
