We stayed at a hotel in a great location with lots of restaurants and markets around, including carrefour, and only a 20-minute walk from Galata Bridge. The beds were comfortable, the room had air conditioning and a hairdryer, and everything was clean. The staff, especially Tahir at the front desk, were incredibly helpful when I had issues with my phone charger and when I needed to leave my luggage at the desk on my last day. They even upgraded my room for free due to availability. The highlight was enjoying breakfast on the rooftop with a beautiful view.

The cleanliness was below standard, with dusty bed sheets, dirty pillows, and a bathroom that needed repair and better hygiene. the daily cleaning service was lacking, as they only made the bed sheets and didn't properly clean the room or address the accumulated dust.

If you're looking for a cosy place near Taksim Square, Hotel Villa Zurich is the perfect choice. It's within walking distance of the square and offers clean rooms with a delightful view of the Bosphorus. The staff, especially Hassan, were incredibly helpful. When I encountered a problem with the air conditioning, they promptly fixed it. Mustapha and Sehmuz were also very friendly and provided excellent service. I'll definitely choose this hotel for my future visits to Istanbul.

Plus, the hotel provides a shuttle from and to the airport, which is a major plus point for travelers, especially those with children.
