The location was beautiful, with lovely views through the trees. the accommodation was excellent, with newly decorated rooms and pretty views. the staff were amazing and very supportive, especially during my charity hike. They managed to fit us in for dinner both nights, even though we forgot to book. the food was delicious, both for dinner and breakfast.

The food quality was good, with a pleasant waiting staff. Hand sanitizers were readily available, and both staff and guests followed face covering protocols. I also appreciated the option to buy discounted tickets to Chatsworth House from the bar area. a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I recently stayed at The Chequers Inn for a short break in the English countryside. The food was amazing, with a great choice of gastro dishes and pub classics. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure our needs were met. The location was excellent for walking, with beautiful trails leading to Curbar Edge and Grindleford. The accommodation was comfortable, and the pub had a cozy atmosphere with a roaring log fire. a fantastic experience.

We had a peaceful and enjoyable stay at the Chequers Inn. the location was perfect for exploring the area by car, and the roadworks meant it was very quiet. the spacious bedroom and bathroom were comfortable, and we loved the fantastic beer garden. We were able to walk up through woodland onto Froggatt Edge, where we were rewarded with stunning views. And of course, the great beers on tap and friendly staff made our stay even better. We also had a decent meal at the inn, with inventive and enjoyable dishes.

I recently stayed at a luxurious 4-star hotel nestled on a hillside, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. The location of this place was perfect for exploring the local attractions in the beautiful countryside. The staff at this hotel were friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay. The room itself was clean and spacious, with all the necessary amenities such as ironing facilities and tea/coffee making facilities. I particularly enjoyed the terrace area, where I could relax and soak in the stunning views of the surrounding garden. The restaurant at this hotel served excellent food, both for dinner and breakfast. The menu had a great variety of dishes, from classic pub food to more unique specialties. my time here was truly enjoyable, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

A romantic getaway in the stunning Peak District led us to book a night at The Chequers in Froggatt. And wow, what a find! The superior double room was truly superior, with beautiful views of Froggatt Edge. The restaurant/bar area served delicious food and drink, with the cozy open fire adding to the perfect ambiance. The staff provided exceptional service, leaving us eager to return for a longer stay. The location was ideal for exploring the peaks and visiting Chatsworth House.

The hotel's location is perfect, with a fabulous woodland garden behind the property for anyone with children. It is also close to Curbar Edge and has easy access to Calver. Furthermore, it is conveniently situated near popular tourist attractions such as Chatsworth House and Bakewell. The cleanliness of the hotel facilities was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast served was delicious and there was ample parking available.

The food at the pub was absolutely delicious and plentiful, and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, going out of their way to assist us with maps. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The bed was uncomfortable, with lumpy and unsupportive mattresses, which made for a bad night's sleep. the room lacked in-room seating, which would have been nice.
