We had a lovely romantic escape at this hotel. The staff were incredibly polite and genuine, creating a lovely atmosphere. The food in the restaurant was of very good quality, and we particularly enjoyed the amazing evening meals. The bathrooms were immaculate, as was the whole place. We were truly impressed by the cleanliness and would highly recommend this hotel. The location was ideal for us as it allowed us to easily explore the surrounding areas, adding to the romantic feel of our trip.

That breakfast was not included, but we were aware of this beforehand. However, there were good options available in the village, including a great local tea room.

The room I stayed in was located on the basement level, which made me feel uncomfortable with people passing by outside. I had to keep the curtains closed all the time, which made the room a bit dark.

The rooms were lovely, with a shared balcony that had a full length voile curtain to keep the midges out. the bathroom was fabulous, with a great shower. the service in the private garden was fantastic, and the evening meal was exceptional. the staff were helpful and friendly, and the location was perfect. we loved everything about our stay and can't wait to come back. 🌟

Liked the warm and cozy atmosphere of the pub where we had an excellent Mediterranean Pizza and a flat white coffee for lunch on a rainy day. the staff was friendly and provided prompt service. the room was comfortable with good wifi and easy access to a shared bathroom with a good shower. the baggage delivery and pick-up were hassle-free.

Disliked the fact that breakfast wasn't included in the room rate, but we knew that beforehand and decided to try some of the good options available in town, such as a local tea room. Nonetheless, overall a great value for money and we recommend this venue to any travellers visiting this rural area of Scotland.

The room on the first floor of the back-building was spacious, quiet, and filled with natural daylight. The shared terrace provided access to fresh air and was a great spot for yoga. The shared bathroom was large and clean. The restaurant downstairs served excellent food and drinks.
