The attention to detail is commendable, with a wide range of coffee and tea options, biscuits, and even the most delicious brownie in the world provided. The location is really nice, with a park opposite for evening walks or runs, and it's not too far from the town centre to wander. Plus, the breakfast delivered to our room was amazing, with a superb bacon and egg bloomer sandwich and a wide choice of options.

This hotel in the pleasant outer suburbs of Derby offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable and the attention to detail is commendable. The location, just away from the noisy centre of Derby, is perfect. It is within walking distance of Derby city centre and conveniently located on a bus route. The rooms on the ground floor of the 'Stables' annexe are particularly delightful, with excellent linen and french windows that open out onto a very private garden. The breakfast selection is also very good, with a choice of cereals and served hot. I was even offered breakfast early as I am an early riser, which was a nice touch.

Great attention to detail and friendly staff. the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with perfectly cooked poached eggs and smashed avocado on sourdough toast. the rooms were small but decorated with originality and flare, and the beds were very comfortable. the hotel also offered complimentary Prosecco and homemade brownies, which was a lovely touch. the outdoor seating area was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the evening.

The parking at the hotel could be challenging for those who are not confident drivers. the spaces were tight and required multiple point turns, and the bollard lights between the spaces were slightly off-putting.

Spent Xmas at a charming B&B with lovely hosts. the breakfast was fantastic, with delicious options like sausages and bacon. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the wedding venue we were attending. We loved the spacious and well-decorated room, and appreciated the hair dryer and mini fridge provided. the garden was also a pleasant surprise, perfect for a morning coffee.

The single glazed windows and flimsy curtains made it difficult to sleep with noise from the busy road outside, so light sleepers beware. the towels were a bit small and well-used, but still functional.
