Despite the some of the negative reviews about cleanliness, I found my room to be comfortable and peaceful. The bed was cozy, and I had a restful night's sleep.

We had a fantastic time staying at the Coal Exchange. The location was perfect, just a short walk from Mermaid Quay and Cardiff Bay. The hotel itself was stunning, with a beautiful mix of plush and refurbished architecture that paid homage to its historical roots. Our room was comfortable and cozy, and we loved the quirky little ensuite with its walk-in shower and plenty of hot water. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the housekeeping staff did a superb job. The best part of our stay, though, was the staff. From the moment we arrived, everyone was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We felt truly welcomed and looked after throughout our time at the hotel.

One minor downside was the lack of parking at the hotel. However, they offered discounts for a nearby car park, which was just a five-minute walk away.

We stayed at The Coal Exchange for our weekend getaway. The hotel's old building gave it a charming ambience. Instead of eating at the chain restaurants by the harbour, we dined at the inviting hotel restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were polite and helpful. The location was perfect, close to the harbour and just a short train ride to Cardiff Central. We will definitely be coming back for a third visit.

This hotel in Cardiff Bay was such a great find! The prices were really reasonable, especially considering all the little extra touches. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. I loved having a jacuzzi bath in the room, it was such a treat! The breakfast included was fantastic, with hot food options served, perfect for vegetarian guests like me.

The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to address any issues we had. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The location of the hotel in Cardiff Bay was perfect for a night out. We especially loved the jacuzzi bath in the room, which looked fabulous!

We chose the hotel for its convenient location near the port, as we were picking up my sister from a cruise boat. The staff went above and beyond to assist us when we lost our engagement ring, especially the kind gentleman with the round glasses. The reception staff were very friendly and showed us to the lift. We were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to the Bridal Suite, which had beautiful Victorian-style furnishings, a massive comfy bed, and a luxurious double jacuzzi bath. The breakfast was great, and the restaurant staff were friendly too.
