The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The restaurant served delicious food, with a menu that had a lot of interesting options. We especially enjoyed the beautiful views from our room, which allowed us to take in the stunning countryside.

The noise levels in our room. We could hear the sound of the water system whenever someone used their bathroom, as well as conversations from the neighboring room.

The owner, who's also the chef, serves up mouthwatering dishes like belly pork and scampi made with locally sourced ingredients. The pub itself is a social hub with a bustling bar and a 6-foot pool table that provided hours of entertainment. The grounds are beautiful, with a large lawn offering open seating or privacy, and breathtaking sunset views from the new outdoor covered seating area. a delightful stay with exceptional food and service.

The location of the hotel is quite away from the motorway, situated on a crossroads in what seems the middle of nowhere. The room is quiet and cosy, with a very comfortable bed. Staff are friendly and always on hand to help. The breakfast is absolutely amazing, with a delicious full English and made-to-order options. The views from the bedroom window are fantastic, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere.

One negative aspect is that the mattress in the room could be too soft for those who prefer a firmer one.

The parking was convenient and overall, the cleanliness and comfort of the property were top-notch.
