We had a lovely Easter weekend getaway in a charming small pub-hotel in a peaceful village near the Cotswolds. the recently refurbished rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated, with lovely touches like fresh linen and homemade cookies. the friendly and welcoming staff made our stay even more enjoyable. the hotel also had a great restaurant with a varied menu, offering delicious dishes from fine burgers to classic steaks. the beautiful surroundings and picturesque village added to the overall ambience.

The room we stayed in was on the smaller side, and located at the top of the building with narrow steps. due to visiting during the hottest week of the year, the rooms were quite warm even with the provided fan.

The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel right at home. the room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom fixtures were of high quality. I especially loved the amazing water pressure in the shower. the breakfast and dinner were exceptional, with delicious local produce. the outdoor seating and veranda added to the charm of the place. the small gesture of a bunch of flowers and a card to celebrate our anniversary was a lovely touch.

The bar was closed in the evening due to staff shortages. I found the hotel slightly overpriced and the location a bit secluded with not much around to explore.

The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring both Oxford and the picturesque Cotswolds. Guests can enjoy a short drive to visit Blenheim Palace, a stunning attraction in the area. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean, offering a comfortable stay. The bathroom is excellent, with quality toiletries provided. The breakfast options are decent, and the staff do a great job considering the number of customers they have to cater to. The hotel also has a beer garden, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoor atmosphere.

We stayed at The Crown Inn in Church Enstone for 2 nights while exploring the Cotswolds. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The food at dinner and breakfast was excellent, and we loved the characterful bar area with its well-kept local beers. The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained, and the little touches like bowls and treats for our dog made us feel truly welcomed. The location was perfect for exploring the North Cotswolds.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The hotel we recently stayed at in the Cotswolds was beautiful for a short stay. the stunning old building with modern finishings on the inside is a unique feature that's hard not to enjoy. One of the key location facts we enjoyed is how close the hotel is to a variety of restaurants and shops. the quality of service we received at the restaurant and bar was excellent, with small touches like freshly made cookies and fresh milk making our stay extra special.

the dining room chairs were quite hard and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sit for an extended period. the breakfast was a little lacklustre and didn't quite match our expectations.

This hidden gem is situated in a picturesque village, perfect for exploring the Cotswolds and Oxford. The charming rooms offer homemade cookies, bubble baths, and cozy dressing gowns. The chef is accommodating to dietary needs, even whipping up a delicious vegetarian risotto. The breakfast is mouth-watering, and the staff ensures a comfortable stay. With soundproofed rooms and thoughtful touches, this inn truly goes the extra mile.

Nothing could have been better.

My recent stay at The Crown Inn in Church Enstone was absolutely delightful. The room was beautifully decorated and had a charming ambiance. I particularly enjoyed the comfortable bed and the luxurious bathroom. The additional touches such as the tea/coffee selection, fresh milk, and salted chocolate cookies made me feel truly pampered. The bar and restaurant area were lovely, and I loved relaxing in the pleasant garden. The location was perfect, with easy access to Bleinham Palace and other nearby towns and villages. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

I must mention one drawback of my stay - the restaurant was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. This was a bit disappointing as I was looking forward to enjoying a meal at the hotel.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. the room was elegantly designed and featured a luxurious ensuite bathroom. the location was perfect, nestled in a picturesque area. the staff provided exceptional service, from the moment I arrived until my departure. the garden area was a great place to relax and unwind. the breakfast was a highlight, with homemade granola and fruit compote being my favorite.

The menu at the bar was limited. On one occasion, housekeeping failed to restock my room with basic facilities despite staying for two nights.

We had a fantastic stay at Crown Inn, Church Enstone. the food was excellent, and our room was very good. the attention to detail and the little touches throughout the hotel were perfect. We especially loved the homemade cookies and lovely toiletries in the bedroom and bathroom. If you can, I highly recommend staying in the Great Tew room, as it offers a massive bed and bath. the location of the hotel was also great.
