had a great time strolling around coniston and the crown inn exceeded my expectations! staff were dog friendly and the room had a good scenic view. breakfast had plenty of choices, just wish they had baked beans with the full english. staff gave good advice on where to eat when no food available.

The breakfast area was constantly being cleaned with disinfectant while we enjoyed our meal, and we even had the pleasure of the old man of Coniston peering out from behind the hotel.
