The staff at this hotel were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They even helped organize a container for me to take some beer home - a great touch! the food served at the hotel was also of very good quality, and I found the entire premises to be spotlessly clean. It was clear that the hotel takes great pride in maintaining high standards.

I must admit that I found one aspect of my stay a bit disappointing. the room I stayed in was a bit dark due to the small window and the old, dark furniture.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making our Easter holiday a truly enjoyable experience. the food served at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. We especially loved the chef's special of slow cooked beef cheeks - it was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. the bar also offered a fantastic selection of gins, which was a refreshing treat after a long day of exploring.

While we had a great overall experience, there were a few minor issues we encountered. the bathroom in our room was quite compact, which made it a bit difficult to navigate, especially with our two dogs.

The communication with the hotel prior to my arrival was great. They were prompt and provided all the necessary information in a timely manner. the location of the hotel was very convenient. It was right in the center of the village, which made it easy to explore the surroundings. Lastly, the evening dinner at the hotel was quite good, offering delicious traditional pub fare that was well presented.

I wasn't too pleased with my recent weekend stay. the room was quite small for the price I paid, and I expected more space considering it was an old building.

The location of the hotel was perfect, close to the town centre and just off the main street in Coniston. We were able to easily explore the area and visit all the major attractions. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide range of options to choose from. We also enjoyed the beautiful views of the surrounding area from our room.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable and too firm for our liking.

I had a great stay at The Crown Inn in the heart of the village. The location couldn't have been better, surrounded by the hustle and bustle during the day and peaceful at night. The pub itself was charming and had plenty of outside seating to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The food was of decent quality and exactly what I would expect from a pub. My room was clean and comfortable, with a very comfy bed. Plenty of parking was available, which was a bonus. I would highly recommend this hotel for its great location, cozy atmosphere, and comfortable rooms.
