I had a wonderful stay at Derwent Arms. the staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing me to check in early. the room was clean and comfortable, with a nice size bathroom and a comfortable bed. I enjoyed a great evening meal and the breakfast the next day was delicious. the location was perfect for my needs and they even had a locked shed for my bikes. a modern, clean, and dog-friendly hotel with fantastic food and great tea and coffee facilities.

As youngsters, we loved the fantastic location and the delicious breakfast at The Derwent Arms. The staff was pleasant and the pint of beer was good. The Sunday roast was also a hit, with a lovely and tasty selection of vegetables.

Guests can also enjoy a good breakfast and facilities for self-catering.

It's a shame that the dinner menu lacked imagination, with disappointing dishes like dry chicken curry and scarce chicken portions.

We had a wonderful stay at Derwent Arms, a lovely countryside pub with B&B facilities. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. the bedroom, although on the smaller side, was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed sitting outside in the beer garden, taking in the beautiful views. the room was spotlessly clean and had all the necessary facilities, including tea, coffee, and biscuits.

I recently stayed at The Derwent Arms in Edmondbyers for a couple of nights. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The hotel was clean and in a great location. The rooms were beautifully decorated and cozy. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with delicious options to choose from. They even accommodated my dog! I was pleased with the ample parking spaces and the quietness of the room. it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely visit again.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

the hotel had all the amenities I needed, including a dishwasher and washing machine. the breakfast was delicious and the staff made my friend's birthday extra special with a small cake. They even had a beer garden and it was great to see sheep roaming around in the morning. Plus, they were very dog-friendly and even served sausages for pets!

We even tried the black pudding, which brought mixed responses but was a fun experience.
