The suite we stayed in was beautifully decorated and had a modern and clean ensuite bathroom with a powerful shower. the location of the hotel was excellent and provided a great base to explore the surrounding areas. We also enjoyed the wide choice available for breakfast and found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful.

One of the negatives of our stay was the poor check-in experience. We arrived slightly early and our room wasn't ready, causing a delay in our plans.

Nothing to fault, everything was perfect.

The hotel was perfectly located right in the centre of the village, opposite the charming cobbled square and overlooking the stunning Dales. There were plenty of cafes, pubs, and restaurants nearby, providing a wide range of options for dining out. The room was cool and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast served in the small restaurant area of the hotel was excellent.

We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and clean room at The Devonshire. There was plenty of wardrobe space for our belongings, allowing us to feel organized and comfortable during our stay. The picturesque views of the cobbled village square from our room added to the charm of the experience. The hotel itself was well-maintained and exuded a friendly atmosphere.

This centrally located hotel is run by friendly hosts who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable, and the breakfast is fantastic. Plus, there are lovely walks in the nearby Yorkshire Dales.

Parking is a bit hard to find.

The hotel is located in the centre of one of the most beautiful villages I have ever seen, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The rooms on the second floor were spacious, well-maintained, and had a lovely view of the market square. The staff provided excellent service and paid attention to every detail, ensuring a comfortable stay. The breakfast, including delicious mushroom options, was satisfying and offered a variety of choices.

All in all, our experience at this hotel was fantastic.

Absolutely loved our stay! Well-run, comfortable rooms, great showers. Friendly staff, especially Karen in the bar. Fantastic food, fresh produce, excellent wine and gin choice. Central location perfect for exploring the village.
