We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were so helpful and made our experience even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, as we were able to easily walk to the city center, the docks, and the train station. We also loved the luxurious and comfortable rooms. The bed was big and comfy, and the jacuzzi in the bathroom was a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious and provided everything we needed to start our day off right.

I recently had a fantastic stay at The Dixie Dean Hotel. My family and I were visiting for a weekend getaway, and we were blown away by the unique charm of this traditional house-turned-hotel. Our Christmas stay was enjoyable overall. the rooms were big and spacious, which gave us plenty of room to move around. the hotel's location was also very convenient as it was central and close to all the attractions.

There were a few negatives to our experience. the room required some repairs as there were leaks from the ceiling and shower head.

The staff at the hotel were really helpful and polite. They were always willing to assist and provide information. the room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with three double beds. This was great for our group as we were able to stay together. the breakfast included in our stay was delicious and had a good variety of options. We also loved the location of the hotel, as it was conveniently located near some great bars.

One aspect that we didn't particularly like was the noise from the neighboring rooms. There was quite a bit of noise as people were going in and out, which sometimes disturbed our sleep.

The spacious and well-decorated rooms were spotless and had all the amenities we needed, including a hairdryer, tea and coffee, iron, and toiletries. the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. the staff, especially April and Melanie at the reception, were lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. the location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions within a 5-minute walk. We also appreciated the luggage hold service as we had a late flight. Dixie Dean himself would be proud of this top-notch hotel.

Quirky and different to the norm, which added some excitement to the stay. Good food, enjoyable meals during our time at the hotel.

Maintenance issues with the TV in the room, had to call for assistance multiple times. Unhelpful and rude reception staff when reporting toilet and sink blockages.

The whirlpool bath in our room was absolutely amazing. We were looking forward to it and it definitely lived up to our expectations. The powerful jets and relaxing atmosphere made it a truly enjoyable experience.

We did encounter a bit of a problem with the bath. When we turned on the jets, there was some black debris that came out of them and filled the tub.

The room was huge, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed, including a TV, tea/coffee facilities, and an ironing board. The highlight of our stay was definitely the whirlpool bath – it was pure bliss! The location was also perfect, right in the center and next to a multi-storey car park. Despite a few minor issues with loose fittings in the bathroom and rickety furniture, we were overall very satisfied with our stay. The staff at reception were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Although we didn't dine at the hotel, we saw the Afternoon Tea being served to another party and it looked absolutely lovely. We were tempted to book it ourselves! Despite some small inconveniences, we would definitely recommend this hotel to others based on our positive experience. I highly recommend this hotel.
