Lovely shared spaces with fireplace. Excellent location near ferry terminal. Friendly staff and excellent food. Shortbread on tea/coffee tray is a nice touch.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent, and the room was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. The location was fantastic, with beautiful views of Goatfell and the sea. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure a great stay.

When it comes to breakfast items, the food was lovely, but it would have been even better with a wider variety of options.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location couldn't have been better, right at the ferry terminal. The convenience of being just a short walk away from the ferry made my trip so much easier. The staff here were exceptional, starting from the receptionist who greeted me with a welcome drink. They were so helpful and accommodating, making sure all my needs were met. The room service was top-notch, and the quality of the food was excellent. I also appreciated the little touches like the ironing facilities, air conditioning, and tea and coffee making facilities in my room. The hotel had a lovely terrace with garden furniture where I could relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. the service and amenities here were truly outstanding.

In the restaurant, the staff can be over eager to clear tables, sometimes removing plates before guests have finished eating.

The location was perfect, close to shops and the coastline. The staff at Douglas were friendly and helpful, even upgrading our room.

Food for breakfast could have had more variety.

The moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and helpfulness. Our room, with its large and comfortable bed, was beautifully decorated and immaculate. The hotel's restaurant and bistro offered delicious meals, including a fantastic buffet breakfast with top quality croissants. The convenient location, just a minute from the ferry terminal, made it easily accessible. Despite a few minor inconveniences mentioned in the database, such as the lack of seating in the bar area and a fully booked restaurant, our overall experience at the hotel was excellent. We enjoyed the deluxe atmosphere, the stunning sea views, and the pleasant "Arran aromatics" spa smell throughout the hotel. The staff were friendly and the food was high quality. we would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back in the future.

the douglas in brodick was even better than our previous stay! the large and comfortable room was perfect, and the staff were friendly and pleasant. the location was ideal for the ferry, and the food was excellent, despite limited choices. we can't wait to return later this year!

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the ferry terminal. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spotless and the beds are comfortable. The outside bar area is beautiful and they have a great selection of Scottish Gin and whisky.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Brodick. The location is perfect, directly opposite the ferry terminal, making it very convenient for travelers. The hotel has excellent facilities, including a lift, which was a great help. Our room, an Executive Double with a sea view, was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the seafront. The breakfast was superb, with a variety of options to choose from, and the staff were attentive and helpful. the hotel's cleanliness, facilities, location on the seafront, and the friendly staff made our stay an exceptional experience.

Stayed at a hotel over New Year and the room was amazing! We got upgraded to an executive suite for free, which was awesome. the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was a great size with everything we needed. the complimentary items in the room were useful, including a sewing kit that saved my boyfriend's trousers! Breakfast was delicious, and there was a great variety of hot and cold foods, with local ingredients. the staff were really helpful and made us feel welcomed. the views from the room were stunning and the location was perfect for exploring the island.

That we weren't warned about live music in the bar below our room. We would've appreciated prior notice as the sound traveled through the floor.
