We had a wonderful stay at a small family run hotel in the centre of town. The staff at Elleray were lovely, providing great service despite being short-staffed. The beds were exceptionally comfy and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was top class and the location was perfect, with easy access to the town and the lake. We also received great recommendations from the staff.

The hotel had excellent facilities, including a lovely bar with a homely atmosphere and a large outdoor garden terrace area. The location was perfect, with easy access to transportation and within walking distance to Bowness and the lake. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided great service throughout my stay. The breakfast was top class, with a delicious cooked breakfast served by Kaz the next morning.

Missing breakfast before 9 AM was such a treat, and the VAT receipt quest turned into a wild goose chase. But hey, who needs breakfast and proper paperwork when you have the lake views, right?
